David Lee Kinnersley, the son of Gerald A. and Hytha E. (Kelley) Kinnersley, was born November 27, 1946 in Red Oak, Iowa. David died November 29, 2002 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 56 years and 3 days.
David was raised and attended school in Red Oak, Iowa. He then joined the National Guard. David lived in Florida and Omaha, Nebraska before returning to Red Oak. David was united in marriage to Carol Bloomquist on July 20, 1992 in Harrison, Arkansas. He worked many years as a carpet layer for Kelley's Carpet. He enjoyed racing stock cars and spending time fishing. He was proud of living his life to the fullest. David was preceded in death by his father.
David is survived by his wife, Carol Kinnersley of Red Oak, Iowa; four children, David Kinnersley and his wife Michelle of Schleswig, Iowa; Shane Kinnersley of Monroe, Oklahoma; Kris Kinnersley of Monroe, Oklahoma; and Heather Kinnersley of Denison, Iowa; five grandchildren, Cole, Zack, Jeremy, Victor and Anthony; mother, Hytha Kinnersley of Red Oak, Iowa; three brothers, Gerald Kinnersley and his wife Janice of Omaha, Nebraska, Maynard Kinnersley and his wife Pam of Gretna, Nebraska, and Danny Kinnersley of Red Oak, Iowa; four sisters, Mrs. Martha Behrens of Red Oak, Iowa, Joyce Clark of Wilton, Iowa, Barb Duckett and her husband Clarence Sr. of Red Oak, Iowa, Carrie Weston and her husband Rick of Red Oak, Iowa; family friend, Jane Murren of Red Oak, IA many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
